We use the information you choose to send us to answer your enquiry. The app’s on-device reading data is separate: Three Apples does not send that data to Markael Studio.
About this policy
This policy covers visits to markael.com and correspondence with Markael Studio. The website is intended for parents, guardians, and other adults.
For reading data inside the app, see the separate Three Apples privacy policy. Contacting us is optional and is not required to use the app.
When you contact us
We receive your email address, chosen topic, message, and any device or app-version details you provide. We use these to answer questions, investigate problems, respond to privacy requests, and understand feedback. We do not add support contacts to a marketing mailing list or sell their information.
Please do not include children’s personal information or payment details. If you send such information by mistake, contact us to request its removal.
The form opens a draft in your own email app. Its contents are not submitted to our website server. We receive your message only when you send the email. “Copy message” uses your device’s clipboard and does not send anything to us.
Website visits
Our hosting infrastructure processes technical information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, and request times to serve the website, maintain security, and diagnose faults. These technical logs are separate from reading activity inside Three Apples.
Fonts and story artwork are served as part of the website. Advertising measurement is described below.
The App Store and Google Play buttons on our website add the name of the campaign that brought you here (for example "facebook") to the store link, so we can count downloads. It is not linked to you personally.
Your browser identifies the device type locally to put the appropriate app-store link first and show a download banner on Android. This does not send additional device information to Markael Studio. If you dismiss the Android banner, we store that choice only in your browser’s local storage so it stays hidden on later visits. Clearing this website’s stored data resets the choice. We do not use this setting for tracking or advertising.
Ad measurement (Meta Pixel)
This website uses the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, to measure how well our ads work. It records page visits and taps on the App Store and Google Play buttons.
The Pixel is not loaded for visitors in the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom or Switzerland. We use our hosting provider’s country information for this check; if the country is unknown, the Pixel stays off. It is also not loaded when your browser has Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track turned on.
When it is loaded, the Pixel may use cookies and send technical browser information to Meta for ad measurement. We do not send contact-form contents to Meta. See Meta’s privacy policy for how Meta handles information.
You can control ads through your Facebook and Instagram ad settings.
Service providers
Our website hosting provider and email providers process information needed to deliver their services. The website uses Vercel for hosting; see Vercel’s privacy policy for its handling of technical information.
Providers may process information in other countries. We use these services for hosting, security, and correspondence. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Retention and deletion
We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and reasonable follow-up, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. We review and remove information that is no longer needed. Providers may retain technical logs and backups under their own retention practices.
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your correspondence by emailing studio@markael.com. We may need to verify that the request is yours. We will explain if a legal obligation prevents us from deleting something immediately.
Questions and updates
For questions or concerns, contact Markael Studio at studio@markael.com. Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may also have the right to complain to your local privacy regulator.
We will update this page and its date when our website or contact practices change.
