On iPhone and iPad: Two tales are free. A monthly or yearly subscription opens the rest of the library while active. Apple handles purchases and cancellation, and Apple’s standard EULA governs use of the app. On Android: Google Play handles purchases. Choose a monthly or yearly plan that renews automatically, or a month or a year paid once that doesn’t renew.
On iPhone and iPad: the app licence
Three Apples: Armenian Tales is provided by Markael Studio. Use of the app is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). This page explains the app’s subscription model; it does not replace that agreement or your statutory consumer rights.
The app is designed for children and families. Subscription purchases and management are for the parent, guardian, or other authorised Apple Account holder.
On iPhone and iPad: what is included
The Liar and Kikos are included free, with no subscription required. Version 1 contains 50+ Armenian tales in total. A monthly or yearly subscription gives access to the other tales while it is active.
Each tale is in Eastern or Western Armenian. Menus are available in English and Armenian. The app requires iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 or later. Additional tales must be downloaded before they can be read offline.
On iPhone and iPad: subscriptions and renewal
Your local price, billing period, and any applicable offer are shown by Apple before you confirm a purchase. Payments are charged to your Apple Account. Plans renew automatically unless you cancel before renewal using Apple’s subscription controls.
Only choose a plan once you have reviewed the price and renewal information. Access to paid tales, including downloaded copies, requires an active subscription. The two free tales remain available when a subscription ends.
On iPhone and iPad: manage, cancel, or restore
In the app, open Parents → Manage subscription when your subscription is active. You can also open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select Three Apples.
If a purchase is missing, use Restore in the app’s plans screen or Restore a purchase in Parents. Make sure you are signed in to the Apple Account used for the purchase.
Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. Apple shows the applicable end or renewal date in your subscription settings. For a refund request, use Apple’s Report a Problem service; Apple determines eligibility under its policies and applicable law.
On Android: availability and plans
Three Apples is available on Google Play from Markael Studio for Android phones and tablets with Android 13 or later and Google Play. The library has 52 tales, with text and narration in Armenian, English, and Russian. The Liar and Kikos are built into the app and work offline without a subscription; the other 50 tales require subscription access and are downloaded from Google Play.
Google Play offers monthly and yearly automatically renewing subscriptions, and a month or a year paid once with no automatic renewal. Paid-once plans are useful for children’s supervised Google accounts, where a parent approves purchases. You can extend a paid-once plan in Parents → Add a month or a year.
Google Play shows the local price, access period, and renewal details before purchase. Automatically renewing plans continue until cancelled; paid-once plans end unless extended. Access to paid tales, including downloaded copies, requires an active plan. The two free tales remain available after paid access ends.
Eligible new subscribers can get a 3-day free trial on the automatically renewing Monthly plan, or the first year at half price on the automatically renewing Yearly plan. Google Play decides eligibility, with one offer per Google Account. Check the offer, local price, and renewal terms shown by Google Play before confirming. After the trial or discounted first year, the plan renews at the price shown unless cancelled before renewal.
Purchases and management are for a parent, guardian, or other authorised Google account holder. Google Play purchases are subject to the applicable Google Play Terms of Service. Apple’s standard EULA applies only to the iPhone and iPad version. Markael Studio permits personal use of the Android app and its stories within the app; this does not grant permission to redistribute its assets or limit statutory consumer rights.
On Android: manage, cancel, restore, or request a refund
For an automatically renewing plan, open Parents → Manage subscription, or Google Play Store → profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Three Apples → Cancel subscription. Uninstalling the app does not cancel it. A paid-once plan does not renew automatically.
Tap the lock at the top right of the tales, complete the parental gate, then open Parents → Subscription → Restore a purchase while Google Play is signed in to the Google Account used to buy the plan.
Request refunds through Google Play, using your order history at play.google.com or Google Play’s refund request page. Eligibility is governed by Google Play’s refund policies and applicable law.
Tap the lock at the top right of the tales and complete the parental gate. Open Parents → Subscription → Redeem a code to open Google Play, then follow its instructions to redeem your code using the intended Google Account.
On Android: offline reading and other devices
Downloaded subscription tales can be read offline while your plan is active. Google Play must confirm the subscription at least once every 14 days, so connect to the internet at least once a fortnight to keep those tales available. The two free tales work offline without a subscription.
A Google Play subscription works on Android devices signed in to the same Google account. Google Play purchases do not unlock tales on iPhone or iPad, and App Store purchases do not unlock tales on Android. There is no family sharing on Android; each Google account needs its own subscription.
Stories and artwork
The tales draw on Armenian literature and folklore, with sources credited inside the app. The app’s illustrations, narration, music, and software are supplied for use under the app licence. That licence does not grant permission to redistribute the app’s assets.
